The Yukon
Gold Rush
started
in Skagway and then on to the Yukon territory in Canada. Eventually
they built a railway to get the gold-rushers to the gold. There was
money in them hills but not necessarily with gold.
The train still runs but now for the tourist dollar.

The Views were the best on the platform of the
train car. An interesting image.
The Views were just breathtaking. It's hard to
imagine the gold-rushers had to carry 2000 lbs of provisions into the gold
fields or the Canadian government wouldn't let them in.
